What are the Nakshatras astrologically speaking?
In addition to the twelve signs of the zodiac, the twelve sun signs, Vedic astrology also uses an even more ancient zodiac: the immeasurably powerful lunar zodiac of 27 signs: The 27 Nakshatras.
The Nakshatras depict our realities in a magical and dream time way that is pre-solar, pre-logical and pre-linear, that is hugely accurate, powerful and meaningful.
These Nakshatras are lunar signs. The positions of the lunar signs were more easily visible to ancient astrologers because they are quite simply the position of the Moon in the heavens on each of the 27.3 days the Moon takes to orbit the Earth against the backdrop of the stars.
Because the lunar signs are so ancient, they are powerful and magical and pre-rational, and each of them has a ‘power animal’ that can incidentally be used for many purposes of understanding, including the identification of the best marriage partner for you.
My Vedic Astrology Level 2 Nakshatras Course approach is two-fold as follows:
Part 1: The first 27 Webinars will present each of the Nakshatras in turn.
We study all 27 Nakshatras, one a week, one after the other and we analyse the deep meaning of the Planets in your chart and mine in terms of the Nakshatra your planets are placed within.

Part 2: The Rules of Nakshatra Analysis
The Webinars following on from the first twenty-seven will then present the rules of Nakshatra analysis. You apply the many invaluable and ultimately illuminating rules of Nakshatra analysis like Navtara, Nadi Nakshatras and Health Nakshatra Interpretation to our two charts.
Note that in all cases the study of both Parts 1 and 2 of my Course will be related to our charts: yours and mine. This is to ensure grounded authenticity rather than formula. In all cases there will be a linking of the astrological perception to approaches of healing and empowerment, art and embodiment work, art work, vision work, myth and if you feel it appropriate you can link at additional charge to a wide range of worldwide healing modalities if relevant.
My approach as Your Teacher:
The astrological teaching and perception offered will be expert and caring. The great perception offered will be thoroughly grounded and authentic. This is because all principles being taught will be applied to the charts of actual people: myself and members.
I have worked as an astrologer for twenty two years and I have attended a number of western and Vedic Astrology Courses myself. I have completed a university-based five-year Ethnography: a social anthropological field study of spiritual forms new to the modern west comprising Hinduism, Buddhism, paganism, shamanism and Utopian Community. I have five university degrees, including from Oxford University, and I am dedicated to the best in caring teaching methods like the Oxford University Tutorial system that I myself benefited from in the late 1960s. I have teaching and counselling qualifications.

I avoid legalistic or formulaic teaching because all the perceptions generated by the western or Vedic Astrology will have pointers to healing methods and because teaching methods will include art work, embodiment work, vision work and empowerment dimensions as well as the top quality astrological perception. My Level 2 Nakshatras Vedic Astrology Course:
The Level 2 Vedic Astrology Course Webinars are actually one strand in my four-strand Vedic Astrology Level 2 Course which is set up as follows:
Strand A. You work through your own written study the Nakshatras and the planets occupying them, one by one, focusing on two charts: your chart and mine, in an applied way.
Strand B. Having completed your study of all 27 Nakshatras, you then go on to study the rules of interpretation using the Nakshatras of Vedic Astrology. Again, in each case, you link your studies to our two focus charts.
Strand C. In all cases there will be a linking of the astrological perception to approaches of healing and empowerment, and use of art and embodiment work, and for example: psychosynthesis, psychosynthesis roleplay, Inner Child Work and Family Constellation Work, where applicable. At additional cost, a very wide range of skilled worldwide Healing Modalities is additionally available if you would feel this to be individually beneficial.
