Summer Solstice Celebration
Lynda Haigh and Michael Conneely are offering an informal gathering to celebrate the summer solstice at a beautiful spot in the Colne Valley. We will call in a circle, invoke Goddess and God, and Lynda will be playing healing crystal singing bowls, with Elemental meditation.
There’ll be drumming around the fire and people can talk about the Summer Solstice, lead on a ritual, dance, music, poetry, call in the Gods and contribute in any way,
We will be connecting with the Earth energy, solar energy, allowing ourselves to be bathed in the energy of the sun at its zenith. Followed by a ‘bring food to share’ solar feast.
The event will include time for contemplation in this beautiful area and bio-degradable tags and ribbons are provided to write your wishes on – to tie to trees or tie around your wrist.
Michael will talk re the Solstice and there will be drumming and funky music – bring your own tunes too.
You are very welcome to come to this beautiful ritual.

At 6pm, we assemble in the car park of The Olive Branch Inn, Manchester Rd, Marsden, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire HD7 6LU. We then walk down to the site. Please bring food to share.

N.B. AFTERWARDS, Lynda will be camping over and others are welcome to join her and we will head up to Castle hill at the crack of dawn to see the sunrise!!! (the actual moment of Solstice is at 10.42am on June 21st)
