The September New Moon is surrounded by a web of five vast surrounding energies.
So you need to know first of all the nature of the five huge surrounding energies at the time of this New Moon, in order to fully appreciate what the nature of this New Moon itself must offer you, now.

Let’s look at the five key surrounding energies:
1.
The Nodes of the Moon are changing sign:
Ketu, South Node, the carrier of our Karmas based on Past Life and Ancestral Forces, the bringer of fierce sharp enlightenment, is transitioning from Libra to Virgo
Rahu, North Node the ambition direction and Life Purpose carrier of our incarnational life direction is transitioning from Aries to Pisces.
Their energy is huge, and the sign-transition is exact on 30th October.
The Nodes are always Retrograde, and their energy field is wide, and so planets in second half of the new destination sign is already affected, as are the planets in the sign where the Nodes have already been transiting for 18 months (this post uses the Vedic Sidereal Zodiac).

Pluto is square the Nodal Axis:
(The Nodes are at 2 deg Libra/Aries, Pluto is at 3 deg Capricorn.
If your natal planets are aspected by the Nodes or Pluto you are being called to identify your proper power and stand more fully in it.
And the way this can unfold and manifest is often by responding to fated and karmic and past life and ancestral issues you need to discover and raise to the light and work with and heal.
3.
Saturn is RETROGRADE!
Saturn, the Lord of Karma, is Retrograde until November 4th.
This means that you are REQUIRED to tie up lose ends, to finish unfinished business, to complete key destiny lessons in your life.
The force of this will, for example, be vast if you are in Sade Sate, or if Saturn is transiting your 22nd Drekkana, or conjunct or opposition your natal Saturn, etc.
4.
Lilith is at the Apex of a Yod, A Finger of God:
A Yod is a chart aspect shape that forces change that feels quite Destined.
The base of a Yod is a sextile (60 deg). The two long sides of the Yod are Quincunxes (150 deg).
Lilith is the apex planet at the end of the Finger of God: the two long quincunxes.
Pluto Sextile Neptune are at the base of the Yod.
Us humans normally relate first to the energies of a Yod through images and visions and illusions brought by the two sextile planets that are the base (Pluto/Sextile with this Yod) – rather than concretely connecting to the Apex Planet fully.
But the nature of the quincunxes means that we will go through a compelled- and fated-feeling phase of mounting tension in relation to the apex planet (Lilith in this Yod), leading to huge life-change or enforced life-decision, like arriving at a fork in the road is reached, where we must chose left or right and what we choose will have a huge fated feel about it.
Lilith is about what is stuffed down into our Unconscious or Shadow side, including our needed-to-know wild side, for the fullness of being Us.
5.
The Ketu-Mars Conjunction:
The fifth great crucial to know energy surrounding the September Full Moon is the gathering horrendous, cutting accident-nature, crisis nature energy of the Ketu (South Node) and Mars conjunction: Ketu the cutting fated energy-carrier of our Past Life issues and ancestry. Mars the planet of action and war.
Ketu is transiting retrograde towards the end of Libra, Mars is transiting Direct out of Virgo into Libra
This Ketu-Mars conjunction will become exact on October 5th at 1 deg Libra.
It is very cutting and dangerous, especially if you have a planet near there,
or if you have a planet opposite there, in the Aries/Pisces transition point, much of which is Gandanta.
BUT what we have to learn with this Ketu-Mars conjunction is for example:
Relating to Ketu as cutting our anti-relationship scripts (it’s in Libra, remember), and drawing on our well-springs of wisdom
And Mars being the force of light shining through the you or me that is becoming the light-warrior standing strongly in his or her own proper power.

Having alerted you to the energetic matrix you will be standing in at the time of this New Moon, now let’s look at the energies of the Now Moon itself. How can it help you at this time?

Sun and Moon are at 27 deg Leo (Vedic Sideral zodiac)
(That’s 21 deg Virgo using Western Tropical Zodiac)
There’s an opposition aspect from Neptune at 2 deg Pisces (orb 5 deg).
And the key thing to note that is that as well as being in Leo, this New Moon is also in UttaraPhalguni Nakshatra.
The Nakshatras are the wonderful 27-sign Vedic Lunar zodiac which so accurately depicts our emotionally-based personality and is such a good guide to relationship understanding.
So: think about the key five energies you have to face, that are described above –
And then hear the key favourable energies the sign of Leo where the New Moon falls:
Leadership, generosity, loyalty, “sunny” personality, dignified; responds well to praise; faith in friends; quick to issue orders; skilled organizer; ambition; fame; willpower; large-issue oriented;
