Saturn in 2020 How to live with Saturn and also with Pluto!

Saturn moved into Vedic Capricorn on 24th January 2020, and is in conjunction with Pluto who moves into Vedic Capricorn on 25th February 2020.

Here’s a poem to Saturn, Lord Shani, written by Lia Cruse the very talented Teacher in the Druid Forest School and rune-path courses:

Dear Shani,

I have run from you all my life
How I was fooling myself
You are the structure of my mind

I put myself down for you
I marry my Dharma
Pour my heart into what I came to do
I see you staring at me with this karma

So much debt left to pay
But I came to do what you say
My heart can’t take the drama
I’m coming home to stay

I see you in my stars
From the questions in my mind
You are teaching my heart

I know you don’t give easy
But I’ll earn my way
Take these seeds I will plant
Let them grow every day

Spent a year trying to align
From troubles learned to speak
But this one came to teach
I leave all that is not mine

“Don’t take what you don’t need”
Here you are my father
Raising a daughter to heal
With her speech

“Don’t speak wounds into others”
“Lies reveal in time”
For this you became my mother
You speak only love divine

“Don’t push too hard warrior, even if in truth”
“Love needs time for hearts to grow roots”
Now you are my lover
I have never escaped you

I see you in my mind
I know what you’re asking me to do
And lay it all before you
Taking up only what is true

I face it on my own now
For moksha is my goal
I will rebuild this reality
Into one that leads me home.

Saturn moved from Vedic Sagittarius into Vedic Capricorn, in UttaraAshadha Nakshatra, on 24th January 2020.

He transits from 1 to 4 degrees Vedic Capricorn in February. This is 25 to 28 degrees Western Capricorn.

He remains in Vedic Capricorn until 29th April 2022 when he enters the next sign, Vedic Aquarius, though he retrogrades back into Vedic Capricorn from 12th July 2022 to 17th January 2023.

Basically, Saturn is strong in his own sign in Vedic Capricorn, and so the groove he will cut in our lives is strong. And if we can sincerely come to understand his message this can mean we will be successful and effective.

We have all had a very Jupiter time up to the point when Saturn entered Vedic Capricorn on 24th January (because of all the planets transiting Vedic Capricorn in 2019), and when Jupiter enters Vedic Capricorn on 30th March, the Jupiter time will have ended. And there is actually a Saturn Jupiter conjunction in the heavens on 21.12.2020 at 6 deg Vedic Capricorn in UttaraAshadha Nakshatra.

Saturn in Capricorn can mean some feelings of sadness. It can be a time of blocks and delays and very hard work.

You have to realize that you must be diligent and strategize and take responsibility.

Basically, Saturn can over-load us with work so we need to take a conscious step not to do this.

We must remember that Saturn will create sudden unexpected blocks in our life.

Negatively, Saturn in Capricorn can bring discontent, pessimism and stagnation.

Saturn is in his own sign in Vedic Capricorn, and is Mulatrikona in Vedic Aquarius, so this means that the lives of children born from 24.1.2020 to 28.3.2025, will all have a destiny and character strong in Saturn influence.
Saturn is Lord of Karma, and so we will all be called to account to acknowledge and burn our negative karmas, and also more strongly and finely manifest that special spark of achievement that is our positive karma in this lifetime.

This will particularly be the case at the time of Saturn predictive periods or subperiods, or at the time of Saturn transits to our natal planets, and of course through the Houses of our Vedic birth chart.

Note that this is intense Sade Sate for all with natal Capricorn Moons, and natal Aquarius Moons start Sade Sate. Get a Reading from me if you want to learn about your individual Sade Sate and how to live with it.

The Saturn Pluto Conjunction

The Saturn Pluto conjunction formed as the Saturn Ketu (South Node) conjunction that had dominated Vedic Sagittarius mot of 2019, separated and waned.

On 1st September 2019, Saturn was transiting at 20 Vedic Sagittarius and Pluto was transiting at 26 Vedic Sagittarius. Their conjunction became exact on 11th January 2020 at 28 deg Vedic Sagittarius in UttaraAshadha Nakshatra.

On 1st February, Saturn is at 1 deg Vedic Capricorn and Pluto is at 29 Vedic Sagittarius.

On 29th February, Saturn is at 4 deg Capricorn in UttaraAshadha; Pluto is at 0 deg Capricorn in UttaraAshadha. Pluto actually enters Vedic Capricorn on 25.2.20.

Positively, Saturn conjunct Pluto brings control, focus, hard work and effort. But negatively it I dammed up control, fixed conflict, upheavals and war.

The divine purpose of the Saturn Pluto energy combination is to squeeze out of you your highest potential.

Your self as defined by your highest potential can be bursting to show itself. Now is a good time to identify that true self, that self that expresses your soul desires – and alter your life accordingly.

Opening to the inspiration that I have mentioned that is here for this time can wake you up and push you to alter your life so as to express the fuller more beautiful you.

We have to be brave.

We have to surrender to unknown consequences and developments.

The meaning of the Saturn-Pluto conjunction when expressed at its highest in our lives, is actually the need to identify and create a strategy forward, which I have been defining as us carrying our Holy Grail forward in life. And the imperative for us to create and carry forward our individual Holy Grail, is actually the huge tension in a certain area of our life that was created through 2019 by the long-running Saturn-Ketu conjunction. And the highest response is to see the divine message in that tension, and then create and carry forward our individual Holy Grail.

So, basically, Saturn is the form and structure of the cup that we carry: our Holy Grail.

But the contents of our Grail cup is actually the energy of Pluto. Pluto at his highest is actually Pluto as Kether the Crown Chakra, the most direct connection possible to the Divine energy through our Crown Chakra. And Pluto can involve a death and rebirth journey on our part – that’s his nature.

But negatively, the Saturn Pluto conjunction is the control freak.

It’s easier said than done to identify and create your own ideal strategy forward that will do away with an area of tension in our life felt in the life area that is the house that is Vedic Sagittarius: the sign where Saturn-Ketu was running and creating tension with the divine imperative to correct your life, the sign where the Saturn-Pluto conjunction formed.

Actually, Saturn and Pluto are Vargottoma all the month of February – in the same sign in the Navamsha as in the Rashi, and so this does mean that there will be good inspiration so we must take the extra care to be open to that.

I myself felt a real challenge of combining building work that is needed: a needed extension to our house, with my Astrology Readings and Courses and other courses on-line. But miraculously, a possible solution stepped in. We were inspired to advertise on ‘Workaway’.

The last time there was Saturn Pluto conjunction, exact, was 16.11.1982 – 38 years ago, at 3 deg 56 Vedic Libra.
