Why do I keep running into the same problem over and over?
Have you ever felt as if the same difficult situation keeps repeating itself in your life even though you have done everything possible to avoid it.? If so, welcome to the club.
Everyone has this situation occur in their lives . So, what makes this happen?
It always comes back to the fact that there is some unfinished business deep in your psyche and that unfinished business seems to attract the same difficulty repeatedly.
Rather than thinking of yourself as a victim, perhaps it’s more helpful to ask yourself “where is the wounded aspect in me that allows these circumstances to repeat even though I try so hard to avoid them?”
Often it can be that there is a hidden lesson that your deeper self wants you to learn.
Each time the circumstance for repeats itself , it gives you an opportunity to deal with it in a different way. Whether it is setting boundaries with an intrusive partner or learning to get up on time for work, repeated failures are simply opportunities for mastery.
It’s helpful to go backwards in time and look at the first time that kind of situation happened in your life.
Often this can give you valuable insights and allow you to begin to work with that wounded part.
By bringing the hurt places into full consciousness, you can begin to liberate that energy so that it no longer shows up in your life.
