The original inspiration for the Druid Forest School came from Ireland’s Holy Mountain: Croagh Patrick, with its Rolling Sun phenomenon where the Sun joins or mates with the Earth. It was here that myth or history records that Saint Patrick fasted for forty days and he fought with the spirit of the Land, the Goddess Corra, and consigned her to the loch below the Mountain. And what followed that? The Irish lost their spirituality, their land their right to education and even their nationhood. But the ancient Gods are still there. We can now contact them.

My ancestry includes Baltic Germanic peoples, Yakut tribespeople as well as Irish ancestry linking me to the Ogham and the Druid path of the ancient Irish Druids. My Irish birth family have lived in Connemara near Croagh Patrick Mountain for many hundred years.
I am a dedicated, caring and supportive teacher. I am the author of six visionary books, and I have an Oxford University MA and five university degrees in total. From 1998, I completed a five-year ethnographic Field Study: a university-based social-anthropological study of spiritual forms new to the modern west, the method of which was to live in the institutions under study in the areas of Hinduism, Buddhism, paganism, shamanism and Utopian Community – mainly based at Glastonbury. I have taught the Ogham for many years.
