This is a brief summary of the planetary movements in January 2021 and their meaning. There are other parts to the Newsletter which specialize in fuller presentation of the energies of particular planets.
The energies of January 2021 are so BIG.
Through 2021, there will be major upheaval to the existing order of things – personally and at the level of nations. We are now at the start of 2021. My keywords list for the energies of January 2021 is not small. This is a month of BIG energies. Challenges. But also some BIG possible opportunities.

You could actually write a book about each of these, but try to absorb them in a thoughtful way. I do feel it’s so very worthwhile to have a summary:
Deal Positively with Tension.
Rise above Unease.
Don’t let the possibility for Depression take over
There’s the need to combat illusion.
There will be opportunities for great intuitive breakthroughs.
There is great possibility for Revolution in how and where you express your positive energies.
There is great opportunity to smash your blocks and increase your rightful proper power.
There will be the need to amplify and boost your connection to the divine Jupiter energies and the need to contact the divine Mars energies, especially.
There could well be the need to face your Darkness and heal it, so as to be able to embrace the light and embody your power.
We all have to recognize the power and supremacy of Saturn from now, but let the Saturn values we have to cultivate be the positive ones.
Cultivate the virtues of Capricorn, with so many planets in Capricorn in January 2021. Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto – and also at times in this month: Sun, Venus and Mercury!!!
So, to briefly summarize in advance, the big energies that are flowing, even thrusting, in January 2021, are as follows:
1.
Due to Kal Sarpa Yoga there will be a divisive unwelcome preposterous energy all month (all the planets to one side of the Nodal Axis, or occasionally one planet on the other side and unsupported and bereft).
2.
The Jupiter Saturn Pluto conjunction is in Vedic Capricorn. Pause for a moment to think:
What is the Divine nature and purpose of each of these planets?
How these great entities combine?
How do they manifest in the sign of Capricorn?
3.
Neptune is square the Nodal Axis so January will be a month where crucial challenges will arise as to what is illusory and unsound, or whether there is great inspiration and intuition within that.
4.
Mars conjucnts Uranus in Vedic Aries. Get a good connection to the Divine Nature of Mars. Embrace and manifest Revolution in the chosen area of your life now.

Now let’s look in more detail, although I do indicate where some of the topics are so major that they also merit an additional video and blog presentation all of their own:
1.
The Nodes of the Moon: Rahu and Ketu:
January 2021 will actually be fraught due to the presence of Kal Sarpa Yoga most of the month. Kal Sarpa Yoga is a divisive and preposterous energy where all the planets are to one side of the Nodal Axis.

And remember, even if one or two planets are to the other side of the Nodal Axis from the rest of the planets, this need not at all reduce the fraught divisive nature, because the isolated planet can be in a difficult insecure state, and we will be affected by that.
So, the Nodes of the Moon move as follows in January 2021: Rahu North Node moves from 26 to 24 Vedic Taurus. Ketu the South Node (always opposite Rahu) moves from 26 to 24 Vedic Scorpio. The Nodes continue transiting through Scorpio and Taurus until April 2022.
To simplify: If you have planets in Vedic Taurus, Rahu will amplify and drive them. If you have planets in Vedic Scorpio, Ketu will dissolve their earthly manifestation, but with spiritual gain if you can discern that.

By the way, you also have to note which of the Houses in your birth chart the Nodes are throwing their aspects to. The aspects thrown by the Nodes of the Moon are conjunction plus 5, 7 and 9 Houses from themselves.
Ketu transiting Vedic Scorpio is a mystical, penetrating energy.
As regards the Nakshatras:
Ketu is in Jyestha Nakshatra all January 2021
Rahu transits from Mrigashira Nakshatra to Rohini Nakshatra on January 27th.

The Pluto Jupiter Saturn Conjunction:
Pluto, Jupiter and Saturn are all together in Vedic Capricorn all month. This is rare, explosive and totally life-changing.
They have not been together in one sign since the years 1145 and 1146.
In January 2021:
Jupiter transits from 8 to 15 deg Vedic Capricorn.
Saturn transits from 7 to 11 deg Vedic Capricorn.
Pluto transits from 0 deg 3 to 1 deg 2 Vedic Capricorn.
Basically Pluto is an explosive power energy that forces us to look into our unconscious and buried material, and offers us the chance to arise in our full and proper power – or to ignore our power and stuff it down into our unconscious.
Jupiter amplifies the Pluto explosion (and can in some settings carry the energy of plutocracy).
Although note that Jupiter is generally very weak at this time, because his energy is so fallen in Saturn’s sign of Capricorn – and Jupiter, in fact, gives and gives to Saturn, whereas Saturn simply sucks Jupiter dry.
But do note that Jupiter and Pluto are actually combining to pit themselves against the restrictions and blocks that are the negative side of Saturn, at the same time as we should be striving to incorporate the positive demands of Saturn for proper structure (individually and social) proper pace and diligence and attention to detail – so do note that very big changes are being called for in your life now. This is the Battle of the Giants.
And note what House in your Vedic birth chart Capricorn is, so as to determine the life area that will especially be affected. Note also the Houses that Saturn occupies nd rules and aspects in your birth chart, because these will be strengthened at this time.
Note also the Houses that Jupiter occupies and rules in your birth chart, because these will have low power at this time.
Jupiter entered Vedic sign of Capricorn on November 20th, and thus has little strength, as Capricorn is ruled by the energy of Saturn, which is inimical to Jupiter, and so Jupiter qualities will be weakened and damaged.
And do note that Economic Recession will come from this Jupiter transit in Vedic Capricorn, as it did last time when Jupiter was in Vedic Capricorn in 2008.

And crucially, note that this Pluto, Jupiter, Saturn conjunction is joined at times in Vedic Capricorn by Sun, Mercury and Venus.

Neptune is square the Nodal Axis
Neptune is square the Nodal Axis all the month of January 2021. This puts a deep and fated nature to Neptune’s issues:
What’s illusion in our life? What’s oh so needed intuition and vision?
Positively, Neptune is: intuition and guiding vision.
Negatively, Neptune is: illusion, delusion, fantasy, alcohol and denial, weakness and drain, deception.
In this month of January 2021, Neptune transits at 24 to 25 deg Vedic Aquarius, in PurvaBhadra Nakshatra, which is ruled by Jupiter, but it is important to remember that Jupiter is very weakened this month because he is transiting Capricorn, and Capricorn is ruled by Saturn.
So, a very important question now and in the months when Neptune and The Nodes have been getting closer and closer, is: what is the challenge of Neptune transiting square the Nodal Axis in your life? And how are you faring with that?

Mars transits Vedic Aries and conjucnts Revolutionary Uranus:
Mars and Uranus transit to exact conjunction at 12 deg Vedic Aries on 19th January.
This is such a big potential for positive revolution that faces each of us from this meeting of Mars and Uranus in Aries now.
There’s an especial need to understand the Divine Nature of these two planets: Mars and Uranus, at this time, to help us manifest their huge power-energies for the best!
Regarding Mars, check out what House Aries is in your Vedic birth chart. This is the life area where you will be open to energetic application of needed revolution. And of course, also look at the other sign that Mars rules: Scorpio: what House in your Vedic birth chart is Scorpio?
And also look at Libra, because mars conjunct Uranus is casting an opposition into the middle of Vedic Libra.

Mars transits from 2 to 18 degrees Vedic Aries in January 2021.
Uranus transits at 12 deg Vedic Aries, all January.
14th January, Uranus turns Direct.
January 18th, 2021 – Jupiter Square Uranus

The other planets:
Sun:
Sun moves from 15 deg Vedic Sagittarius on 1st January, moving into Capricorn on 14th January, and ending January at 17 Capricorn.
The Sun combusts Jupiter and Saturn during the time he transits Capricorn. Sun is conjunct Saturn on 24th January and conjunct Jupiter on 29th January.
January 15th, 2021 – Sun Conjunct Pluto
January 24th, 2021 – Sun Conjunct Saturn
January 29th, 2021: Sun Conjunct Jupiter
Lunations:
There’s a New Moon on 13th January at 29 deg Vedic Sagittarius
And a full Moon on 28th January at 14 Cancer.
Mercury:
Mercury starts January at 21 Sagittarius, and ends the month at 2 Aquarius. Mercury will be retrograde from January 31st to February 20th.
Mercury is conjunct Pluto – exact January 5th. A time offering great Depth of Thought.
Mercury is conjunct Saturn And Jupiter on January 10th-12th, 2021 at 8, 9 and 10 degrees Vedic Capricorn
Venus:
Venus transits from 24 Vedic Scorpio, entering Sagittarius on 4th January, entering Capricorn on 28th January, and ending January at 4 deg Capricorn.
At the start of 2021, Venus is conjunct Ketu the South Node of the Moon. For a person born at this time, this is a difficult script for love due to past life love issues – and the person has to learn not to keep melting love down in this life.
Chiron:
Chiron moves from 11 to 12 deg Vedic Pisces in January 2021. This is very significant for those with planets here – and for those with planets opposite in Vedic Virgo.
