Well, the truth is: strange but true: that a big percentage of the people coming to me have the aspect ‘Chiron opposition Uranus’ in their western birth chart. And I have the same energy. Chart below.
And I feel people get me as their astrologer because I can tell them something crucial relating to this. Tell them they have the script, examine how it manifests, develp perception, give keys to empowerment and healing.
The energy is in our lives because our soul chose a life where we would not be adequately recognized by one of our parents, usually the mother, or it can be both parents.
What I am talking about here is having the aspect in reasonably tight orbs, not wide. For more about the frequency of the aspect see below.
And so the manifestation of the Chiron opposition Uranus energy in our life is that due to separation from a parent or lack of communication in our earliest environment, we have difficulty in sharing and opening up and expressing our Truth to others.
The tension in the experience of not being noticed or valued in some way by a parent makes us creative, independent and yet high-strung, and it causes ‘over-pacing’ which becomes damaging to the body in due course.
This is because we over-pace to be noticed and valued. And this is damaging to mind, to relationships, to steady career, and all activities from early on.
We can be contrary by reflex and take a ‘different’ or even unpopular stance for the sake of rebellion and getting noticed. This can be as disruptive and destructive as it can be creative and productive. We can thirst and lust endlessly for the New (because there was this hurt in the ‘now’).
So, it is essential that we develop a more enlightened perception into this script and modify its expression and heal it.
Chiron is after-all the Wounded healer in us, and in the healing of our existential wound (as signified by Chiron’s Sign, House and Aspects in our birth chart), we can not only heal our selves and our own lives – but we become the Healer of others.
And as just a part of the reward for the healing, as life goes on, you will get the knack of being spontaneous without provoking others.
In fact Uranus orbits the Sun in around 84 years and Chiron in 50 years, so the two actually made tight oppositions 41 times between 1952 and 1989. I think the societal manifestation of this energy includes a meteor-like scientific discovery which is yet to be grounded and integrated, that can soar above human realities and needs. But in other ways some scientific openings have connected with spiritual breakthrough too. Taken with wide orbs, the aspect affects millions of people.
