Note that the planet movements in the following summary are all stated in the Vedic Sidereal Zodiac.
I first list and describe some of the more major planetary energies affecting human consciousness and life events in 2022, then, secondly, I list the data for the more major planetary movements such as Lunations, retrogrades and planet transits through signs.
So, first of all, here are just a few of the more major planetary energies affecting human consciousness and life events in 2022:
1. The USA Pluto Return:
Pluto starts 2022 at 1 deg Capricorn, and ends 2022 at 3 deg Capricorn (UttaraAshadha Nakshatra).
Pluto in the heavens is thus closing on the position that Pluto occupied on the day the USA was formed, 6 deg Capricorn. The first exact hit is April 2023. This energy will cause much darkness and woundedness to arise, with the ideal that it now be healed. The social changes resulting upon this will affect the world.
2. The Nodes of the Moon change Sign:
Rahu North Node and Ketu South Node change sign from Taurus-Scorpio axis to Aries-Libra Axis. This will have a huge effect with dramatic events, especially if you have major planets in or ruling the Aries-Libra Axis, or Dasha/Bhukti planets in or ruling the Aries-Libra Axis.
For all of us, there will be a special focus on cultivating proper awareness of self (Aries) and balancing that with relationship (Libra)
3. Uranus transits square Saturn:
Uranus is transiting square Saturn. Uranus transits in Aries the whole of 2022. Saturn transits Capricorn for all of 2022 except for a brief entry into Aquarius April to July. When Uranus last transited Aries this energy produced the rise of Adolph Hitler and World War 2. Now this formidable strong energy pits itself against Saturnian restrictions and blocks in your personal life path and I the countries we live in.
Note that the revolutionary energy of Uranus is magnified by the vast driven energy of Rahu North Node which is conjunct Uranus exact in July and powerful close from June onwards, and palpable before that.
4. Kal Sarpa Yoga runs from 14.12.21 to 24.4.22:
This is a preposterous and divisive energy producing often fated events. This is when planets all transit to one side of the Nodal Axis. Half of each month this produces Moon transiting on its own the other side of the Nodal Axis producing a Kemadruma Moon, an unsupported Moon which gives a destabilizing energy for our consciousnesses.
Note that all the key energies run in the signs to one side of the Nodal axis in the year 2022:
Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn
Jupiter in Capricorn then to join Neptune from April in Pisces where Chiron transits too.
Rahu and Uranus in Aries
Ketu in Libra
5. Jupiter and Neptune transit Pisces:
Jupiter enters Pisces 13.4.2022. Neptune enters Pisces on 18.4.2022.
At its highest this will produce a most wonderful and needed visionary current which, if properly handled, will favour intuitive breakthrough and healing.
A mystical current will be offered to all of us.
Chiron too transits Pisces bringing definite healing energies for the signs it aspects.
However, there is need to guard against the negative side of Neptune which is drink, drugs and delusion, deception and parasitism.
6. Mars conjunct Chiron:
Mars transits Chiron exact mid-June 2022. I see this as a wonderful opportunity for healing the wounded Mars. However, such a process can of course entail a painful and destabilizing period of experiencing our woundedness for the strong and divine Mars to be able to arise from this.
This follows the Mars Ketu conjunction in Scorpio transit of November 2021 which again was so powerful in its potential for people with wounded Mars.
7. Mars and Rahu conjunct:
Mars and rahu transit close to each other in July and August.
They are conjunct exact on 1st August at 24 deg Aries
This carries an energy of violence which can manifest at the personal and also the global level.
Also, Mars’ transit and Retrograde in Mrigashira Nakshatra (which is ruled by Mars) from 24th September to January 2023 will be sharp cutting energy (and speech).
8. Saturn and Jupiter are both Retrograde
Saturn and Jupiter are both retrograde from end July to October. Things will feel very held back. There will be a deep call for us to learn the lessons from this.
Now, secondly, I list the data for the more major planetary movements such as Lunations, eclipses, retrogrades and planet transits through signs:
The Nodes of the Moon change sign 12.4.2022
Perhaps the most powerful change is the Nodes of the Moon changing sign from Rahu transiting Taurus and Ketu transiting Scorpio to Rahu transiting Aries and Ketu transiting Libra.
This will have a huge effect.
People with planets in Aries and Libra will feel this especially, experiencing dramatic changes, particularly if it is your Sun, Moon or Ascendant, Dasha or Bhukti planet.

Retrograde Planets 2022:
Mercury is Retrograde from 14th January to 3rd February in Capricorn
Mercury is Retrograde for the 2nd time from 10th May to 3rd June in Taurus
Mercury is Retrograde for the 3rd time from 10th September to 1st October in Virgo
Mercury is Retrograde for the 4th time from 29th December in Capricorn.
Venus is Retrograde from 19th December 2021 to 29th January 2022 in Sagittarius
Mars is Retrograde from 30.10 2022 to 12.1.2023. Mars starts this Retrograde in Gemini but retrogrades into Taurus 14.11.2022, ending his Retrograde 12.1.23.
Jupiter is Retrograde from 28th July to 24th November in Pisces
Saturn is retrograde from 4th June to 23rd October in Aquarius
Uranus is Retrograde until 19th January in Aries
Uranus is again Retrograde from 24th August for the rest of 2022 in Aries
Neptune is Retrograde from 28th June to 3rd December in Pisces
Pluto is Retrograde from 29th April to 8th October in Capricorn
Chiron is Retrograde from July 19th to December 23rd in Pisces
Mars is transiting through the following Signs in 2022:
Mars enters Scorpio 5.12.21.
Mars enters Sagittarius 16.1.2022
Mars enters Capricorn 26.2.2022
Mars enters Aquarius 7.4.2022

Mars turns Retrograde 30.10 2022 at 1 deg Gemini

Jupiter entered Aquarius on 20.11.21.
Jupiter starts 2022 at 6 deg Aquarius, and enters Pisces 13.4.2022.
Jupiter starts 2022 in Dhanistha Nakshatra, enters Shatabishak Nakshatra on 2.1.22, enters PurvaBhadra on 2.3.22 and enters UttaraBhadra on 29.4.2022, to end 2022 in UttaraBhadra Nakshatra.
Saturn transits Vedic Capricorn from 24.1.2020.
Note that Saturn enters Aquarius but only very briefly for two and a half months, from 29.4.2022 to 12.7.2022, turning Retrograde 15.6.22.
Saturn does not become fully placed in Vedic Aquarius until 17.1.2023.
Saturn starts 2022 in Sravana Nakshatra, enters Dhanistha Nakshatra 18.2.22, ending 2022 at 28 deg Capricorn.
Uranus starts 2020 at 8 Aries, and starts 2021 at 12 Aries (Ashwini). Uranus enters Taurus on 1.6.2024
Neptune starts 2020 at 22 Aquarius (PurvaBhadra) and starts 2021 at 24 Aquarius (PurvaBhadra). Neptune enters Pisces on 18.4.2022.
Pluto starts 2022 at 1 deg Capricorn, and ends 2022 at 3 deg Capricorn (UttaraAshadha Nakshatra).
